3 (Three) UK pull the 2.2 Froyo update for the HTC Desire

Goodbye for now Froyo

It seems that the 3 network have taken down the Froyo 2.2 update from their servers after customers complained they could no longer access the Market.

The update which became available for OTA download from mid October was taken offline earlier this week after the complaints came in. No word on how many complaints were received but a quick look on the 3g.co.uk forum suggests all of 2 people had the problem.

The one user managed to get his Market app working by doing a factory reset which I would recommend after any new firmware install. So, did you have this problem and was it resolved by a simple “Ctrl Alt Del” ?
